The Monday-morning question isn't "what did we quote" — it's "is everything on site?". The Materials view answers it in one screen: every scheduled and active job's material list, together, as a single pre-job pick list.
One list across all live jobs
Open Materials in the sidebar. Each scheduled or active job shows its materials — derived automatically from the saved quote: the fixtures you picked, tiles by area, and the consumables the work needs. Nothing is retyped, so the list can't drift from what was sold.
Three taps from quoted to on-site
Every line moves through three states:
Tap a line to move it along — left to right, never backwards by accident.
- Still needed — quoted, not yet dealt with.
- Ordered — on its way.
- Picked up — in the van or on site.
Tap a line to advance it. Each job shows its progress ("3 of 7 picked up"), and All materials ready is the green light that a start date will hold. The status filter cuts the view to just what still needs action — "everything still needed across all jobs" is your ordering list for the week.
The crew see the same truth
The same list, with its live statuses, appears read-only on each job's crew page — so "did the silicone arrive?" is answered by looking, not by calling you.
Ordering from suppliers is separate — on purpose
These statuses are your own tracking; they don't send anything. When you want to actually request materials from a supplier, that happens from the saved quote's material order card, which groups lines by supplier and produces a branded request PDF you can send with one tap. Track here, order there.
