Plan the week with the scheduler

The scheduler is where a won job gets real: exact days and the right people. One row per job, a bar from start to finish, today marked down the middle — a glance answers "who is where this week, and what's next".

The scheduler: job bars on a weekly timeline, one bar being dragged to a later start

From rough week to real days

The pipeline board plans in weeks — enough to win and queue work. The scheduler plans in days. Both read the same start date, so you never update two places: drag a bar here and the board's week follows.

Jobs that are won but have no start date wait in the To schedule tray at the top. Add them to the timeline when you're ready to commit to days.

Working the timeline

  • Move a job — drag the bar left or right.
  • Change its length — drag the right edge.
  • Set exact dates or crew — click the bar; a panel opens with date fields and the crew chips.

Every change saves immediately. There's no separate publish step — the schedule is the plan.

Put faces on the bars

Assign crew from the bar's panel — the assigned members' initials show on the bar itself, so an unstaffed job is visible from across the room. It's the same crew control as the board card; assign in either place.

Catch double-bookings with the by-crew view

Switch the view to By crew and each person gets their own lane, with their jobs laid out in time — plus an Unassigned lane for work nobody owns yet. Two bars overlapping on one person's lane is a double-booking you just caught a week early, not a Monday-morning surprise.

The crew find out without you calling

Each crew member has a personal link with a read-only "my week" — assigned jobs first, dates included. And if your WhatsApp is connected, Mastro messages crew automatically when they're newly assigned to a job or its start date moves, with a link to their page. Schedule it once, and everyone knows.

Next: share the links that make this work — crew links: hours, photos and the week.

Frequently asked

Why is a job in the 'To schedule' tray?

It's won (scheduled or active) but has no start date yet. Add it to the timeline and give it real days — until then it exists on the board's rough week only.

Does moving a bar change the pipeline board?

Yes, automatically. The board shows the week, the scheduler the exact days — both read the same start date, so a move here updates the board's week without a second edit.

Do the crew see the schedule?

Yes — each crew member's personal link includes a read-only 'my week' page with their assigned jobs first. If WhatsApp is connected, they're also messaged when they're assigned or a start date moves.
