Every connection Mastro holds — WhatsApp, Gmail/IMAP email, bexio, Stripe — lives on one screen: Settings → Connections (owner-only). Each card shows its live status, and that status is the first thing to read when a channel goes quiet.
Read the card first
A healthy card just shows what's connected. A card that needs attention says so — needs reconnecting, an expired login, a dropped connection. That message is the diagnosis; the fix is almost always the Reconnect button on the same card.
Expired logins are normal, not broken
Gmail and bexio logins expire from time to time — that's the providers' security working, not something you did. Reconnecting takes the same few clicks as the first connect, and nothing already synced is lost; the flow simply resumes.
One habit worth having: when you change your Google or bexio password, expect to reconnect in Mastro afterwards.
Nothing's syncing — or so it seems
Email polls every couple of minutes; bexio syncs every few hours. "Nothing happened yet" a few minutes after connecting bexio usually means not yet, not broken. The bexio card has a manual sync button when you'd rather not wait. And remember the first import is deliberately modest — recent documents, not your whole archive.
WhatsApp setup won't finish
Connecting WhatsApp goes through Meta's signup dialog. On desktop it opens as a popup — if your browser blocks popups for the site, allow them and retry. On a phone, Mastro automatically uses a redirect instead of a popup, so if the desktop flow fights you, finishing the connect from your phone is a fine workaround.
Stripe shows pending
After starting Stripe Connect, the card can sit at pending until Stripe has verified your details. That step is on Stripe's side — finish any outstanding verification in the Stripe dashboard (the card links to it), then check back.
When it's none of the above
If a card looks healthy but a channel still misbehaves — messages not arriving, invoices not folding in — contact us via the help centre footer. Say which card, what you expected, and roughly when it stopped; that's usually enough for a quick fix on our side.
